"This series of paintings is based on the Wide Stripes - Coded
Ornaments cycle. Here the organic ornament is subordinate to the order of the horizontal lines, and is not easily detected. The principle for this series is derived from the effect of the vertical structuring of the strips and experimenting with zooming in on these 'manually digitalised' strips until they become autonomous."
